Design-Build is an opportunity to have elevated communication and understanding throughout the entire pre-construction to post-construction process

It starts with a meeting where we listen to your wishlist, needs, and preferences and discuss budgeting, planning/scheduling, and timelines for design and construction. From there, we will document your space to later provide you with a 3D virtual rendering of the end result. Your vision and feedback plus our expertise holding hands to create as smooth as possible of a journey.

Once your final designs are in hand, we will work through the permitting process while you explore and pick out the finishes for your space, working with our Selections Coordinator and preferred vendors. When the permit is in hand, you will be assigned a Project Manager who will be your go-to for all things construction-related until you have a move-in-ready space to enjoy for years to come.

Yes, we love to work with potential customers who already have plans. While the “design” portion of “design-build” won’t be applicable to us, we’d love to discuss the possibility of working with you for estimating and construction.

In design-build, the design, construction, and project management are all handled by one contracting firm. In our case, BuildCo7. Our process is further outlined above in writing and in video. We would be happy to discuss further how we can help you with your design-build project.

Are you specialized in any particular style?

BuildCo7 has designed and built a variety of “styles” and concepts and is not limited to any. We do have a rich history of working with historic homes and are one of the go-to contracting firms in Nashville when any historic zoning is involved. We also do many non-historic projects.
